I have an Intel camera that uses windows 98 or xp. It's a great little camera and have been using it for a couple of years. The problem I have, I have a brand new computer that has windows xp, and am not able to use my camera, how can I fix this w/o having to buy windows 98?

You may have installed the camera and software on XP incorrectly. All the
instructions I've read say to install all drivers and software before ever
connecting the camera to the computer. If you connect the camera too soon,
XP will not recognize it. In my case, the only way I could correct this
error was to uninstall everything, then restore my pc to a date prior to
when I first tried to install it, then try again, making sure that I did not
connect the camera at all until all installations (software and drivers) was
done. Then it would work just fine.
