Windows clustering

Hello
My config is:
windows 2000 sp3 on two clustered servers
Hardware: compaq DL760 4xCPu's

i want to upgrade one the of the nodes only to be 8Xcpu's while keeping the
other on 4xcpu's, i have it covered as far as hardware is concerned, but will
the OS complain ?

Hi Layth,

No, as you have the multiprocessor HAL already installed no changes in the
OS need to be made and cluster nodes do not have to have symmetrical
hardware.
