Windows Calendar - how to turn off

Is there an option somewhere to turn off Windows Calendar from starting up
when the computer boots, and from popping up when there is a calendar event?
I didn't find anything in the options. Thanks.
 
Try File | Options and uncheck the option to show reminders when not
running.

Interesting that they abandoned the long-used Tools | Options for File |
Options. I wouldn't have considered that being consistent with Windows Logo
requirements. <VBG>
