Windows Backup tool Problem

Hi:

I'm using the windows XP backup tool, and I scheduled 5 jobs on every day of
the week except Sun and Sat. the jobs only ran once, evern though the
server is runs over night, what is the problem?

PS. the backups are stored on a third hard drive on the server then being
burned on a DVD! "is that a good practice?"

That's the only way you CAN do it with the XP Backup utility - CD/DVD RW
aren't recognised as valid backup media.
 
I do not backup the files directly to CDRW or DVDRW, I back it up first to a
HD but the program is not running as it suppose to on time, and it's not
repeating and appending to previous media, the description that the backup
utility is giving me is the jobs is suppose to run weekly!
