I have an intranet website on Windows 2003, IIS6, SSL, and only Windows
Authentication checked. In I.E. (6.0.2800.1106 SP1), it reprompts the
authentication with every file, every image, for every page. In Mozilla, it
prompts once and then is happy from then on. Thus I'm guessing it's a
browser security setting? I can add it to the intranet group under Options,
but this only masks the problem, as it shouldn't need to reprompt for every
page? Does anyone know what to do here?

One more update - I noticed that the webserver had been up for 93 days, and
so I gave it a reboot. Since then, it's been behaving better, but this
still doesn't resolve the problem - is it a bug in IIS that needs patching?

Check these out.

you try to perform a NT LAN Manager (NTLM) Authentication with an IIS4 or
