Windows ASPI Installation Corrupted

Ok - does this affect optical drives much, i used Nero
Info Tool to see if i could fix the problem with my DVD
RW drive (its in another community so dont ask) and one
of the last despearate attempts was to use InfoTool to
check the drive for problems. Thus far the only
abnormality on the infortooll readout was the WIndows
ASPI installation was currupted. any wa to fix this?

It will affect optical drives that are accessed by programs that use
Windows ASPI. Nero uses its own ASPI, so it is not affected by this.
