Hi

I heard several times that there is no support for "Save Mode" in XPE (For example in this newsgroup)

1
If I select "Directory Services Restore Mode (Windows domain controllers only)" it is possible to enter "Save Mode" even in XPE. Any comments, information, suggestions

2
The 3 "Save Mode" menue options in the "Windows Advanced Options menu" end up with a Stop 7B blue screen. Is there a way to get rid of this menue items

Thanks
G. Grabhe

Safe Mode is a feature of the windows boot files and not something you can
remove the option for in XPe or any other version of XP. However, Sean
Liming's book "Windows XP embedded Advanced" shows a method of preventing
the bugcheck if you choose that option from F8.
