Windows 98 password rescue freeware???

hi all,

I have a program which runs based on Password. I have forgot the password
for it and I can't run it.

Is there any frreeware or any other means to rescue the password and run
this program?

google "reveal password" and you'll find a few free programs that do this.

Le whoops,

You need a window showing the covered password: *******
in order for 123 Password to work. The key will reveal what is under
the *'s when you drag over to it.

If your program simply asks for a password I don't think it will work.

I think REM is right; Some suggestions: If it's registry based, perhaps look
in the registry; if not, maybe delete all references and re-install if you
have the original .zip or whatever.
