When the computer locks up, reboots, or gives a blue screen, ussually indicates that a service or driver that loaded into memory failed
Have any new drivers/ hardware been installed?
If we boot to the F8 startup amenu options
Select Last Known Good
BEFORE pressing enter on < Origninal Configuration or Profile 1 > look at the bottom of the screen
If it says "To boot to the Last Known Good Configuration, press L" then press L and then ENTER
If you have already done this, or it still fails after pressing the "L" key, you will need to call into the Microsoft Support help desk, as it cannot be troubleshoot via newsgroup support
