During the start up of my computer I get the following message:

C:\\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for
runnin MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to
terminate the application.

I have searched for a possible solution here and found
www.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/305521
I followed the instructions to the letter but when it came to pasting things
into the %systemroot%\System32 folder I got lost. I could not find a
folder by that name.

Please help!!!!!!!

%systemroot% is the variable for where your OS files are installed,
typically C:\WINNT.

So the %systemroot%\System32 path would translate as C:\WINNT\system32
assuming your system is typical.
