Windows 2000 asks for Windows 2000 CD

Hi,

We have installed several PCs using images in the last
weeks. After some MSI installations or Windows Updates,
some of our PCs asked after the reboot to insert the
Windows 2000 CD.

This seems funny because:

- all the PCs are not concerned (but the image was the
same)

- I was already told to check the ServicePackFiles
directory in WINNT but it has to same number of files and
size when comparing a "clean" PC and a PC that shows the
problem.

Has someone an idea ?

Is the hardware for all computers exactly the same. If not, Win2k needs to
be installet in the usual way for the computers that differs (slightly) from
the others (those which the hardware is equal to the computer you took the
image from).

Or it can be something else.
