window size

When opening a link in explorer, new window is very
small. How can size be set to maxamize every time?

Do not use the maximize button. Grab the corners of the window and drag it
to full screen size. Close the program using the red X in the upper
right-hand corner. The next time you open the program, Windows will remember
the last screen size used.

Thanks Bruce, but this does not seem to work. I've tried
your suggestion several times, but each time I start
Explorer the same problem comes up.

For example, I open a web page. On the page is a link
that opens a 2nd window. The 2nd window is very small.
I pull the window open (not the maximize button), then
close that window with the X, then close Explorer with
the X. Then go back into Explore and try the same
thing. The linked to 2nd window again opens very small.
 
After stretching the window to size don't close the window by clicking on
the X, click on File and then Close. Now all links should open to that
stretched size. Works for OE, IE and Windows Explorer.
 
Reset Window_Placement might help!

Or press the CTRL key while clicking the X, does the exact same thing as
clicking file | close
 
Just a little illiterate.
