Window Share Dissapears

I have shared a folder on my workstation, and occassionally users can no
longer access it. When I look at the folder the shared icon is no longer
there. When I reboot the machine, the shared folder icon reappears and it
then works again. Anyone experience this, or know the reason this is
happening?

WinXP Pro SP2
