Just did a clean installation of xp and encountered drivers problem and
cannot reboot to desktop, so I did a window repair (the second "R' in the
setup). It does it usual thing of collecting info...preparing installation
and "Installation Windows'" However, the pc always reboot at the 33 minutes
mark and restart the install again. Can someone shade some idea what is
happening and howcanI get it working or must I do another clean installation
and how can I avoid a dual boot then? Please help and thanks

I just did a repair install about 3:30 this morning.Just wondering,when it
reboots to continue,do you "allow" it to reboot on its own or did you hit
enter to boot from the disk ,when it prompts you to?
Be sure & wait for it to boot by itself at this point & when it reboots
again during the installation.

A co-worker of mine had this same issue and asked me for help, all I did was
to "wash" the installation disc and it work fine after that.
