WINDOW MAIL UNABLE TO READ ATTACHMENT

hi!
when I get a mail with an attachement I can open it but all I see is like
all kinds of strange letters and numbers and they don't make sense, I can't
read nothing at all...
help!!

If Windows Mail doesn't treat it as an attachment, clicl on Tools, then
Options, then Read. If there is a check mark in the box before Read
all messages in plain text, click on this box and then Apply. Click on OK.
 
thanx I'll try that but I also have the problem when I open something with my
hotmail account...
 
and that box isn't marked...thx...

euhm...how can I find that information for the file extension...? :s (me
dummy!)
 
Click on the paperclip that appears in the upper right corner of
messages with attachments. Show us the part of the file name
starting with the last period.

If there's no paperclip, Windows Mail may not have a decoder
for the code used for the file. Show us the first few lines of the
code, which should include the file name.

I found the sollution! I downloaded microsoft word viewer 2003 and I changed
the way the .doc files opened and now it works wawieee!
