System is a 2.66 Pentum 4 224 MB Ram AX Home edition. I have just upgraded from Win98. I have runned Anti Virus and Anti Spy Ware. Every thing seems to be running fine. No yellow (device not found) in Device Manager. System Boots well and shuts down well. Window Explorer's target is c:/ and response is immediate if I only navigate on c:/ drive but if I click on MY COMPUTER or click on D: drive then everything hangs there for a good 2 minutes and then the folder I clicked on appears! Can anyone help please. I am almost at the point of starting over with a clean install but I would surely loose some files and settings.

Don, when you upgraded from 98 to Xp did you reinstall all your programs.
