Window File

Windows loads, desktop comes up, all is fine and suddenly Windows file
appears opened showing all its contents. How do I prevent this from
happening????

Its the actual Windows file folder. Went ahead and checked my registry, all
looked fine that I can see. Went ahead and modified anyway and still no
change. Hmmmm, I'm at a loss! Hopefully someone can help.......

1. Make sure your computer is virus/malware free:

2. Do clean-boot troubleshooting because *something* is starting with
Windows that is doing this.

OK....here goes.......I did everything that was suggested and realized I
didn't know what half of those entries were, so I researched under startup
here in Windows XP Newsgroup and in KB's post there was this link.

Downloaded Autoruns and used database to check my entries and by gosh by
golly, my problem was solved. Thank You for all your help!
