window border thickness

I went into display properties and cannot find how to thicken the box (any
box) border thickness, it's so thin that it takes a few seconds to position
the cursor on it to stretch the edge or corner bigger or smaller, it was
easy to find on win98, can't find on WinXP, please help!

Display - Appearance, click Advanced. In Item select 'Active Window
border' and change size. On a 1280x768 display I find a setting of 3
pixels works quite well
