I have the latest update for windows media player and something weird
happens when I play a file from the internet. Before I proceed, let me add
that I am a blind computer user. If I press enter on a link to play, for
example, a wav file, the sound will come in bits and pieces. I will hear
the first second of the sound then a pose and then the next second of sound
then a pause. This will continue until the sound is over. I can't enjoy
music on line that way. Cds and Mp3s On my computer work fine. I am going to
take internet courses and I don't want to listen to lectures this way. I
have windows xp and a laptop micron pc 1000. Thanks.

This is perfectly normal.when you first click on a link
for movie or music file off the internet,it has to
download and the media player has to buffer the
file.Whilst this is going on it can't play properly as
its in the middle of a download.
However wait for the process to finish and it should
then automacally play again only perfectly now its
finished downloading. If it doesn't replay it
automatically after the jerky download part, set your play
options to repeat and enjoy.

Juan.

How? Will I be able to do this even though I cannot see the screen or will I
need sighted help?
