windoes media player 10-HELP PLEASE-

I am trying to find out why everytime I try to burn a song or songs a message
comes up saying that the song will not fit due to missing duration
information?I have tryed everthing, the message also says to play the song
before trying to burn and I did that but still won't work.I am so lost and
just want to burn music to my c.d.s what should I do? THANKS IF YOU CAN
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
have you tried using the burning software that came with you pc?..nero is
normally included..check your programs list to see if its there..its a lot
easier than wmp from what ive heard..i use it to do regular cd
albums/compilations and to do mp3 albums both on cd and dvd...
 
I don't have nero what can i do ,is there any downloadable burning software
site thats free,because nero is so expensive?Also, will that fix the problem?

I assume that you haven't googled for "free burning software" or
similar. Try jetaudio.
 
if your pc came with the cd burner installed you should have some form of
burning software include..poss roxio if not nero...REALPLAYER has burning
facilites on it (freeware),but its limited to just audio cd,not
mp3(premium),although i cant vouch for it as ive never used it to burn my
cds,only as my player,you could try downloading nero from places like
BEARSHARE/TORRENTREACTOR,these are file sharing sites,unsure if its illegal
as basically your downloading someone elses programs that they are sharing
and may or maynot include vital serial numbers..id suggest you try doing a
search on www.download.com..thats where i get most of my freeware software
from..happy burning
 
right, ive did a quick burn of a cd using REALPLAYER and its worked ok on
mine,so give it a go cos its free and its a pretty good player (prefer it
over wmp,as mine just does what it wants)....
 
I have tryed burn4free.com and everytime the songs get converted but then the
burning progress stays at zero,this is nuts eveytime I try to burn, something
goes wrong! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
