I reviewed the other posts here describing a folder opening upon startup. I
am experiencing a similar problem.
Upon accessing my logon (4 user accounts on our system) the window
c:\Program Files\LINKSYS opens. This is a file I just created to put my
LINKSYS drivers and netcheck in.
Following the directions on other "window opens" answers I have:
-scanned for a virus
-followed directions for run -MSCONFIG
- followed directions for run-regedit
I did not see any files that appeared to be "linked" - pun intended - to
this folder.
I have also noted that the LINKSYS adapter program file is highlighted on
my All Program menu...perhaps because it is in use?
Please steer me in the right direction to remove this problem. Thank you.
