i have settted up my AD in win2k server. i have couple win98 machines here
and i would like them to join the AD. However, they just don't work, can not
join the AD. i did check they can pink the domain.

Does anyone can tell me how do i let win98 join the AD

Thanks

You have to install the DSclient from microsoft. But you
still won't be able to use all of the stuff in AD.

Win9x cannot join a domain - it can only connect to one.
Set the workgroup name to match the domain name (and disable file/print
sharing on all Win9x boxes).
Set the Client for MS Networks as the primary login, and specify your domain
for login.
Make sure you're running WINS and all clients have the WINS server IP
specified.
You may want the AD Extensions for Win9x installed, although some find this
isn't required.
