Games will not load from either CD player, so I tried to reinstall windows XP
home using the repair function. While reinstalling windows I got a bunch of
errors that said win32 file ___.dll is missing or corupted.

Is there a way to get those back without reformatting and doing a full
windows install?

Some older games might not work in XP at all, check out the game
forum for further help on it.
For missing win32 files it could be becuz of bad installation disk
