I have a third party firewall, and I am regularly asked
whether or not I want to allow Generic Host Princess and
numerous Windows32/System applications to connect to the
internet. I am currently running XP Home, and this is a
one family, one computer household. I have not been able
to find out if there is a rule of thumb when it comes to
these types of applications regarding whether or not I,
as a single user, would want or need them to connect to
the internet. If anyone could give me any insight or
just point me in the right direction I would certainly
appreciate it. Thanks!
