Win2k Pro SP4 -> WinXP Pro SP2 upgrade?

Is this a "relatively" painless upgrade? I don't have
any vital info on the PC I want to do this on. I put
together ALL my PCs so I'm no newb. I just want
to avoid re-installing ALL my apps - I would have
just done a clean install if I wanted to do this.
I know this is a supported upgrade path.
 
Yes, all you need is a "Retail Upgrade Version"
of Windows XP Professional. Make sure to run
the Upgrade Advisor before proceeding.

In addition to Carey's post, it should go fine but make sure you have a
full and complete backup just in case.
