Win2K group policy settings corrupted by WinXP admin tools?

After editing the GP for an OU from a WinXP station (WinXP version admin
tools for Win2K server downloaded from Microsoft), I get tons of "data
truncated" etc. messages if I try to edit the same GP from one of the
Win2K stations. It's as if the WinXP admin tools made some changes to
the GP objects that can no longer be read by the Win2K admin
tools...even on the server.

Is there a fix for this?

Thanks for the article.

It's not clear if one is supposed to download .adm files or possibly
update templates on the server from the workstation.
