win2000pro configuration on Nt4

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by configure. I assume that you want to add a host record for the W2k pro client. Just create a static entry in your DNS
server named after the host name of the W2k pro box and point it to it's IP address. NT4 doesn't have dynamic update ability so you have to add the entry
manually. You may also want to uncheck "Regsiter this connection's address in DNS" in the advanced properties of TCP/IP for it's network card. This will
prevent the W2k pro box from reporting a dynamic registration error.
