Is there a supported upgrade path from Windows 2000
Professional-Service pack4 to Windows XP Home Edition?
The 2000 on this box came loaded on a refurbed machine so
it's considered OEM to my Windows XP Home upgrade CD. I
keep getting "no valid upgrade path" when I try to
install. Any suggestions?

Only XP Pro can upgrade over Windows 2000.
XP Home will require a "clean install" which
requires reformatting your drive.

2000 Pro cannot be upgraded to XP Home, no matter what
version it is...it can only be upgraded to XP Pro.

You might want to look into the Files & Settings Transfer
wizard to transfer your files and such over to the new
install, the menu that comes up when you insert the XP CD
should help you find it.
