Running Win2000 sees my new Geforce A340 Nvidia Card in Device Manager but
will not let me change the display properties past 16 colors?

Remove the video card from Device Manager and then reboot and reinstall the video drivers.

Thanks David, but the error is 'not enough free resources' memory range
D0000000-DFFFFFFF not available. Do you know how I can free more resources?
There are no device conflicts. Is there something in the BIOS that needs
changing?

Ghost message -- meaning what is stated should not be taken literally.

If removing then replacing the video drivers doesn't work then the card may be bad.

I suppose it's possible that the BIOS is incrorrectly set. Follow the
installation instructions provided for the card and set the BIOS
accordingly. The issue is hardware and/or BIOS related. In this case
Windows is just the messenger.
