data1.msi is just the name of a file that can be the setup file for one of
many applications. Office 2000+ uses a file with that name (I believe).
Photoshop 7. Others, as well. What were you expecting to happen when
opening data1.msi?
MSCONFIG doesn't come with windows 2000.
People liked it and complained. Microsoft has brought it
back for Windows XP. You can copy it off a Windows XP
machine. The Win9x version won't work on win2000.
