Win XP Uninstall Remove Filtergate Program

I get the following message after executing uninstall/remove program.
Unable to winexec an uninstall. The program I'm trying to remove is a demo
version of Filtergate.
 
I received a message from Filtergate suggesting to update Filtergate to the
latest beta version and try to uninstall afterwards. I did that and was
able to uninstall. Thank you.
