While installing SP1 for a client the install program
came back with the error message that it could not find
the file csrsrv.dll and could not copy it. It then asked
for me to search for the file and tell it where it was
at. I did a complete search and the search came back with
no files sound. I had just removeed the Sasser Worm and
was updating Win XP with critical updates (they had been
ignoring them). My question is does The Sasser Worm
remove this file and/or should I restore to a previous
point?

Perform a "Repair Install", then install SP1 and all
other Critical Updates.

Carey,
Should I use Norton AV 2004 cd to boot first to make sure
no additional viruses are present?
