Windows XP SP2 crashed my computer on re-boot. Apparently
there are problems with SP2 making Registry changes that
affect startup.Microsoft tech support had me re-boot from
the original system disk.(required going into bios and
changing order of boot devices). That worked ok. My
system now is running really slow.Any ideas out there to
get back to normal ops? Also, if you are running ANY
third party software that runs on start-up, Close them
and turn off the start-up function before you try to
download and run SP2. In particular, Spyware removers and
anti-virus software that try to protect the Registry.
