Win XP rebooting for no reason

My computer reboots for no reason at irregular intervals , and when i boot
back up , it says , "Windows has recoverd from a fatal error"
 
Look in the Event Viewer for Clues

start>run and type

eventvwr

then in the left hand pane select "System", then look for errors that were
reported.

normaly when you get ranom reboots its 1 of 3 things. the most common reboot
problem is heat, you might want to check you system temps with a program
like motherboard monitor while running a stress test like Prime95 and report
back.
the other 2 problems are harder to fix. one might be bad ram, if you have 2
sticks of ram try running with only one, if the problem still happens then
try with just the other stick.
The last common problem of random reboots is your power supply, this is much
harder to check for but after you try the 1st two i can show you how to
check to see if your power suppl is the problem.

There is also the possibility that the system is bugchecking due to a driver
and the OP just doesn't realise it. To determine what driver (if it is a
driver issue) is causing the problem I need you to enable driver verifier.
Steps:
1) Windows Key + R
2) Type in 'verifier' and hit enter
3) Make sure 'Create Standard Setting' is selected and hit next
4) Click on 'Select all drivers installed on this computer' and hit Finish
5) Reboot

There is a possibility that your computer will crash on reboot. If this
occurs hit F8 when rebooting just before the windows logo screen and select
the safe mode boot option. Follow the same steps above but on step 4 choose
'Select driver names from a list'; hit next; check the box next to any
driver where the provider is not Microsoft; hit Finish; reboot.

This will slow the performance of you computer a little while enabled but
will hopefully catch the driver causing corruption. Next time you crash
the blue screen will hopefully say something like
"DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION". If this occurs please send the
corresponding minidump (by default it is at c:\windows\Minidump ) my way.

I have also seen this caused by a static discharge (more common in the
Winter when the air is dry). This can be an issue even on grounded systems.

I have 40-50 C temps ( high ) , good ram , got new lately , worked fine
( 3 weeks + ) ; im gunna try to verifie the drives and i'll tell
you guys if it stops

Ok , my system crashed and showed the blue screen and when i booted back up
in normal mode , i got 2 error reports : Hard Disk Drive Error Detected and
Solution Found: Run LiveUpdate to Get the Update ( caused by Norton AntiVirus
/ Symantec AntiVirus (SAVRT.sys) )

Maybe this is the problem : i recently installed a BigFoot TX for file
transfer ( reinstall Win XP ) and now ,after the reinstall on the same
partition , i have , on D: , my main HDD , D:/WINDOWS (old) and D:/WINDOWS2
(new) , i edited the boot OS list to remove the second ( old ) OS ( still
showed up ), But when i go in the BIOS , if i select the C: or D: ( Maxtor 30
Gb and Maxtor 160 Gb ) as boot HDD , i have , when i select the 160 , this
error : NTRLD Missing , Press Any Key To Reboot ( same error i had b4
reinstalling Windows , and i still have it ! ) and when i select the 30 gb ,
it says " OS not Found " ; and the only thing i added recnetly is RAM,
Azenram 514mb DDR400 ( PC3200 ) to the 2 256mb that i already had ( Major
PC2100 ) , and i didn't have any problems whit it , but i also did a TuneXP
routine , so amybe that messed up stuff since my OS folder isn't standard.
