I have purcahsed an original Win XP from the local retail
vendor and installed it in my new PC. It was working
perfect and recently when I got to update from microsoft
site it did not install on downloading the service pack1.
It showed a message that the key code is not mactching.
The down load was okay and it failed to update and the
following message appeared. "The product key used to
insatll windows is invalid. Please contact your system
adminstrator or retailer immediately to obtain a valid
product key. You may also contact Microsoft Corp. Anti
Piracy Team be emailing..... etc.
What does this mean and how do I solve the problem.
Please help as I dont have much idea about operating
computers and the software.
Please can anyone help me out with this problem.
