Win Xp Pro with Outlook 2002 outbox mail prob.

When I send an e-mail it goes to the outbox and remains
there in the outbox. when I check if it was received by
the recipient? Yes it was!!
But in my Outlook 2002 it still show pending in the outbox?
Can anyone help.?
