Win XP Pro back to XP home..newbie

Was using xp Home for a year no problem......just had my hard drive
changed to a 40 gig...unfortunatly they put in XP Pro in
French....ever since I have had problems....cursor keeps turning into
hour glass, registry shows 7 of the following listing everyday:

Couple of questions..can I revert back to my Home ver, and how....
do I use FAT or NTS to format my drive..any advice on how to proceed
would be appreciated
 
Unfortunately, the only way to go back to XP Home after you've installed XP
Pro is to format and start over.
 
You can not revert back to Home. You must re-install with Home. Use the XP
Home installation CD and follow the directions for a "clean" install.

You will have to re-install all your applications and re-do all service
packs/updates.

Ask them to re-install your copy of XP Home?
