Win XP Home keeps rebooting

Was doing SP1 via Windows update when computer froze halfway through
install.
Now it won't start properly. Just keeps rebooting on startup.
Tried 'safe mode' and 'last known good configuration' but still does the
same.
Any ideas anyone, please?

If LKGC doesn't work & you can't access Safe Mode you will have to look
towards a 'Repair' install:

"How to Perform a Windows XP Repair Install"

Failing that, try the Windows Update News Group:

news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windowsupdate
