WIn XP files check

Hi

I know theres a way that you can get windows to check the files from the cd
but I can't remember what you need to type in to do this. I have deleted
something out of the reg and my autoplay is wrong. Just looking to restore
it.

Start-Run and type in "scannow /sfc" (without the quotes and a space between
w and /"

SFC is System files checker, but it has nothing to do with the deleted
registery entry you mention. Just do system restore to before you edited
the registry. (Help and Support, Pick a Task)
