Win xp and Win 98

Is it possible to have win 98 set up as a dial in server monioring calls and make win xp home connect to it

I have some data on the 98 machine i need to access remotely using my laptop with xp home on it so i would ideally like to map drive C on the win 98 machin

Yes, but only if you use IPX for your dialup connection on the XP
machine.
