Install XP first on the C: partition, then install Vista on the next
available partition. After installing both operating system you will get a
menu appear when you reboot. You can select which operating system you want
to boot from this menu.
One word of advise. When you dual boot, if you boot to XP all system restore
points on Vista will be deleted (this even includes shadow copies of
Complete PC Backup if you are running the Ultimate edition) I personally
image my drives so i don't need system restore. If you have Vista ultimate a
way around the problem is to use bitlocker encrytption.
