Win XP and Cd autostart

I have burned some data (only) on CDs. I would like to set up the CD so that
the contents open automatically when the CD is inserted in a CD drive with
or without WinXP support.

Can WinXP arrange for this autostart feature or do I need a special program
like "Autoplay Menu" ?

You need a file called autorun.inf, which in it calls an application
on the disc which opens your files.
