I have Vista dual booting with XP Pro which works correctly with my
old Macronix NIC. Vista didn't install drivers for the NIC and when I
try to reinstall driver using the XP driver it says it can't find the
driver. Any ideas???

thanks, Richard

Check with the NIC manufacturer about Vista drivers.
In some cases Windows XP drivers may work, but there is no assurance of that
from anyone.
NICs are cheap, it may be time to buy a new one.

Download and install the Vista-specific drivers from the NIC's
manufacturer's web site.

The mfg no longer makes the NIC and thus no Vista drivers, I guess a
new NIC card is in the offing

thanks
