Hello,
I know that this is not an XP question, but I have to put
it somewhere. I had the opportunity to get a free copy
of Win Server 2003 standard and enterprise (yes, they're
legal) and I am thinking of using it to set up one of my
desktops at home as a file and print server. I had hoped
to avoid having to spend a lot of money doing this, but
when I tried to install my Norton Anti-virus Pro 2004 I
received an error message saying that it wouldn't run on
a server OS and that I would need to upgrade. Corporate
and Enterprise level versions run a minimum of about
$700. Does anyone know of a cheaper solution?
Thanks,
Mike
