Hi All,
I cannot logon to a client computer because it cannot find the Domain. I
know that the DNS is setup ok and I was told that it may be the User Profiles
that was causing the problem by not having the local path setup correctly.

I am fairly new to Win SBS 2003 so any help in this matter would be much
appreciated.

Also, can the saved data/profiles volumes on HDs be transferred and be
recognised even if the WinSBS 2003 OS has been reinstalled and setup due to a
crash of the system?

Regards

Assuming it is profile issue, can you logon another user?

Hi Robert,
Thanks for coming back to me. Thae answer to your question is NO, I cannot
logon with another user.

I was also informed that it may be a DNS issue, and that it may be that the
computer cannot connect to my domain to find its computer account and the
user account I'm trying to log into as these are need to determine the Group
Policies that are applied.

What do you think of this notion?

We need more information to help. When accessing the remote computer, do you have logon screen? If yes, what's the error message when logon?
