Win Live Mail formating

I can't figure out how to change my formating in WLM and have it stay. I can
format it from the menu on the e-mail but when I go to send a new e-mail the
WML default (Arial, regular, 10, black) is back. I can't find another format
menu.

Hi, The correct newsgroup for problems with WLM is
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop
 
That took me to Windows Mail and I don't want to use that! Is that the only
place I can get my question answered?
 
Yes, that newsgroup is the best place to get a WLM question
answered. The reason Windows Mail popped up when you clicked
that link is because you haven't made WLM the default for newsgroups.
Open Default Programs, click on "Set your default programs."
After the program list comes up, click on "Windows Live Mail (News)".
Then click on "Set this program as default."
