win istallation problem

dear sir,
m using windows xp professional and wenever boot my pc
getting an error "unmontable_boot_volume stop:0x000000ed
(0x80e62cc0,0xc0000032,0x00000000,0x00000000.I tried to
install win xp pro it's again give an error "file \i386
\ntkrnlp.exe could not be loades error code 7"

plz help me,m waiting 4 ur positive reply..

Hi,

What did you change? That error happens when either a) you used a 40 wire
IDE cable when you should have used an 80 wire cable (for ATA66 or higher
drives), b) you tried to force a faster UMDA mode in the BIOS than the
system can handle, or c) IDE caching is enabled on an unpatched system.

There is a patch for the last one, for the others you need to undo what you
have done.
