Win 32 error question

I tried running an application that installs a program on my computer i
downloaded and it say "(program) is not a valid win32 application. What does
it mean and is there any way fpr me to load the program?

It means you downloaded the wrong version of the program, if it even has a
Win32 version. Maybe you downloaded a Linux version, or a Windows 64-bit
version (and you are still running a Windows 32-bit version), or it only
runs in DOS, or ...

Since you didn't bother to provide a link to the download or otherwise
identify it, and since you also choose to hide what program it was, you
really think anyone can be specific in their response when your question is
vague?
