My install of Win2K has stopped working. Everything loads
up ok, and the desktop appears when logged in. The
problem is when I double click any icons or select a
program from the start menu, the little hourglass
appears, and then goes away, and the program or window
never opens, this happens even with My Computer, or
Explorer. This happened since I installed SP3. Does
anybody know how to get the system working, I did not
archive the files before upgrade. Also is it possible to
slave my hard drive to another PC, and access all the
files from this PC, and save them, before I reformatt and
reinstall?? ie can I slave as a D Drive on another
system, as a slaved drive, and access all the folders etc
(the documents of all profiles, I have the admin password)
