Will not open

I have used Windows Mail for about a year now with no problems. I am on
Vista and do not use McAfee or Norton virsus pgms. Windows Mail will show
the splash screen, but wont do anything else. I am at a loss right now as to
what I need to do. Any help would be great!

Did you ever have a Norton or McAfee antivirus program on that computer,
even one of the trial versions that often come already installed on new
computers?

Do you have a recent version of the Trend antivirus program, the third of
the
three antivirus programs that tend to cause the most problems in Windows
Mail? If so, uninstall it.

Check your list of installed programs and see if it includes either SMS
Desktop
or Google Toolbar. If it does, uninstall them. Web sites that let you do a
Google
search are not a problem.
